Microsoft, Kanteron Systems, and 20 other technology companies have set up the “AI in Health Partner Alliance” to leverage the founding members’ vision of Democratizing Artificial Intelligence.
In its tenth year, Silicon Valley Comes to the UK (‘SVC2UK’) has invited 50 UK high-growth technology companies to join the 2016 ‘Scale Up Club’. One of those companies is Kanteron Systems.
The European Commission, through Startup Europe, has selected Kanteron Systems amongst the top 18 European scaleups (from Belgium, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Ireland, Italy, Spain, and the UK) to represent the European Union in Silicon Valley as the “next EU unicorn”.
The Startup Europe initiative brings together EU policy makers (commissioners, prime ministers), the best of the new EU Scaleups and corporations to meet Silicon Valley stakeholders.
Kanteron Systems today introduced a new way to connect medical imaging devices. “Kanteron’s DirectTransfer” will enable hospital networks achieve higher transfer speeds, reduce cost, and establish large-scale telemedicine networks seamlessly by applying new network protocols and computer algorithms. After leading the industry in digital pathology dicomization, and enhancing clinical genomics with imaging integration. Kanteron Systems has developed a new industry first, by leveraging the latest network protocols designed with online multimedia and applying lessons learned from the “Internet of Things” (IoT), to achieve more efficient routing and packet processing, directed data flows, simplified network configuration and enhanced security.
This Tuesday and Wednesday Kanteron Systems was invited to participate in Microsoft’s 5th Health Innovation event, in the Exhibition Area, along with 5 other selected partners.
Titled “EmpoweringHealth: the journey towards more personalized, productive, collaborative and predictive health services & systems” it took place at the Microsoft Executive Briefing Center in Brussels.

The TIC Salud National HealthIT Innovation Tour is an initiative that organizes events in different Spanish regions so that companies in the industry can present their latest innovations in the field of HealthIT to healthcare professionals and executives.
