Kanteron Systems USA, Inc. today announced that John Memarian, President of International Businesses at Merge (recently acquired by IBM), will be joining Kanteron in a newly created position, as President and Chief Commercial Officer, joining the executive team and reporting directly to Founder and CEO Jorge Cortell.
Memarian will be responsible for executing the commercial strategy and business development of Kanteron, overseeing activities relating to marketing, sales, product development and customer service, to drive business growth and market share.
Healthcare information systems leader Kanteron Systems, in collaboration with the NHS National Health System (NHS) England’s Open Source and Code 4 Health Programmes, has agreed to allow the entire NHS unrestricted access to Kanteron’s medical imaging and genomic data integration platform under the custodianship of an NHS clinically led OpenPACS Code 4 Health community. The agreement was announced at RSNA – the world’s largest gathering of clinical medical imaging professionals – in Chicago (USA).

Kanteron Systems has been selected as one of the 35 companies forming the initial cohort of the Mayor’s International Programme.
The programme will support high growth businesses from London’s Technology, Life Sciences and Urban sectors to expand their businesses internationally.
