Kanteron Systems is proud to announce the release of the CloudApp plug-in for Osirix and is making it available to the whole Osirix community for free.
The ever-growing involvement of Kanteron Systems with Free and Open Source healthcare projects like Osirix goes beyond being the largest (“Diamond”) Sponsors and involves coding, developing, from bug-detection and solution, to code improvement (such as increased AppleScript interoperability) to contributions both inside Osirix and externally such as this plug-in.
AECTA(Advanced Services Sector Consulting Association of Valencian Community) has chosen Kanteron Systems to be featured in their third edition of their book “Success Cases: competitive solutions” (pages 191-197), describing our R&D project “SICEIVI” as presented by the Valencian Innovation Institute (IVAI).

Televisa, Mexican TV, features in this video a pioneering surgical procedure in which Kanteron PACS (distributed in Mexico by Ceurac) referred to as “the most advanced, unique, in the country”, plays a fundamental part.
Kanteron Systems introduces a new KDS plug-in for recording voice reports directly in DICOM format. Based on NEMA specifications (completely standard and compatible). These recordings are automatically assigned to the corresponding study. Perfectly integrated with KDS, it allows to easily recognize all available audio series. With a simple click, recording can be listened to, modified (given the right permissions) and shared as many times as needed, with other nodes and workstations in the DICOM network, including other KDS and PACS.
