John Memarian to Join Kanteron as President and Chief Commercial Officer
Kanteron Systems USA, Inc. today announced that John Memarian, President of International Businesses at Merge (recently acquired by IBM), will be joining Kanteron in a newly created position, as President and Chief Commercial Officer, joining the executive team and reporting directly to Founder and CEO Jorge Cortell.
Memarian will be responsible for executing the commercial strategy and business development of Kanteron, overseeing activities relating to marketing, sales, product development and customer service, to drive business growth and market share. Kanteron helps healthcare providers and EHR vendors manage imaging and genomic data effectively for precision medicine applications at the point of care, pioneering the integration of healthcare big data silos (medical imaging, pathology, genomics, pharmacogenomics and biosensors).

Memarian will join Kanteron effective March 1st from Merge, where he currently serves as president of the International and OEM Businesses and has led the company through a period of outstanding global growth and the acquisition by IBM. Prior to Merge, he served a number of leadership roles and key involvements in business development initiatives in the healthcare industry’s leading organizations such as GE, McKesson, Leidos Consulting (Formerly maxIT Healthcare).
